How many singles will particpate in the speed dating events and is the ratio always even?
Our events range anywhere from 16 to 30 singles. And I do my best to keep the numbers even. I will often block a gender from registering if I have too many of that particular gender. In other words if I have 11 women registered and 7 men I will block additional females until I reach 11 men. But when the night arrives you just never now! Someone can become sick, have a babysitter cancel, car trouble, etc… If we have an uneven number we just rotate that extra person out and I have never had a complaint!

Does speed dating actually work?
Yes!! My first success story was a young couple who actually got married and had a baby! Over the years I have heard many success stories. I get goosebumps everytime I see that email thanking me for introducing them!

Can you offer a quick speed dating tip?
The most important thing is a positive attitude. Noone want to spend 5 minutes listening to someone complain about their job or their ex husband. Save those conversations for your best friend. Use the 5 minutes to laugh and have fun! Keep it light!

How soon will I find out if I have any matches?
Our automated matching system enables us to get the matches out to you the same night of the event. If you made a match you will recieve that persons email address and phone number.

Do you get a lot of repeats?
The truth is that we typically do get a few repeats at these events. But I am very good at recognizing this. If I have 4 repeat guys and 1 repeat girl I will look up to see if she has met them before. If she met all of them I would give her a call and give her the option to cancel. I would also give her a full refund.

What is your refund policy?
If you cancel within 24 hours of the event I will give you a full refund. If you cancel the day of the event I will credit you to attend another event. If you do not show up and do not contact me there is not refund as I would not have had a chance to fill that unused spot.

I have never done this before and feel nervous about just walking into the event! Well first of all we have a private room at Murphy and Scarletti’s which makes it a bit easier. If you are really nervous arrive a few minutes early. It is always easier to enter an empty room and let it fill up, than to enter a full crowd. I also promise you that I will be standing there to greet you! I always have addtional staff at the events to manage registrations so I am free to greet everyone at the door.
